How do I read the threads, and if I want to post a photo of my work, how do I do that. I have completed my Number 1 houses, and now on to number 2

Hopefully I can find the reply to this somewhere in the blog

    Cheers

Pam, you got good answers to the LIVE I did that has helpful info on the Forum.

Here is a 6 minute video I did last year on how to add photos:

I've made about 5 houses now, but this is the first one I haven't screwed up in one way or another.

        HI,
I can't seem to find the class from Jan. 1st. Can you tell me where it is. I went to BOM 2021, then to classes and I can only find the classes or talks to Dec. 29.

        Thanks,
        Stephanie

I, too, will be using traditional PP and print to my laser printer. I am more frustrated by my ink jet printer than by removing the papers from a pp project. Plus, I feel more confident that I will NOT have any sizing problems. I have experienced shrinkage with the freezer paper method. The idea of trying to fit a curved item that has just a bit of size problem doesn't sound like fun.

yes I run it through my printer ust cut the freezer paper the same size as the paper and iron only the top 1/8' then feed it through with the ironed edge first ...you may have to change your settings to thick paper but it works great. If you buy quilters freezer paper it is thicker and feeds through. i only load one page at a time

my 8 small houses 1. I am using my own fabrics from stash. I have just over 4 metres of the background fabric so hoping it will be sufficient.

I bought the freezer paper before I realized it would not work in our lazer printer. jamming! I have a really nice light box, so will just trace the patterns as I have done for years. I have made a ton of Ruth McDowell patterns and she uses the freezer paper method.

I love it. Where there’s a will, there‘s a way. I made a quilt top tracing the pattern pieces taped to my plate glass window in the living room. Worked just fine.
