A named this Alex Anderson meets Pippa Moore. I took her workshop many years ago and never did anything with the applique. I thought this would be the perfect home.

Years ago I made an Amish style quilt using solids and black. I loved it. I think you need to make a couple small blocks and the set it on the Kaffe fabric. How does it look? You know we will be using the Kaffe as setting blocks in some way. Do you like it? It may be just fine.

Gradyk, I have made several quilts using black backgrounds and bright colors and I just love them. I have attached a picture of my Sizzle quilt that has a black
background. Audition what you have and then make a decision. I am sure what ever you decide to do, you will like it. If not, I bet you change your mind and
make a smaller other project with the blocks you started with and did not give the look you wanted and start over. I have done that more than once.
Block you make that don't work never go to waste, I alway just put them in something else.

I am also considering black as opposed to white for this quilt. It makes the colors pop
