My houses 1 & 2. I have 4 values of each of the 8 different colors. The doors and windows are mostly triad colors to main house color but
          a different value

My Small Houses 1. The rainbow polka dot house has a story. The owner of this house in our town was upset about a large apartment building that was built next to his house. So he painted his house in large polka dots!
This background is for this circle. It is an Australian fabric. I thought it looked like a starry sky.
I am using the art fabric in Wendy Williams for the outer, and a dark starry fabric for the mariners compass.

I made my blocks the dinosaur method I really like that way of paper piecing. I'm using my small stash of Alison Glass fabric will need more but that wont be a problem I work in a quilt shop. And for doors and windows I'm using batiks which I see. To have a lot of.

I just finished my houses 1&2. I really like the freezer paper method. I chose a white and gray background and randomly selected color combinations. I’m so glad I joined The Quilt Show for this BOM!

Your sky fabric looks terrific. Helped me a lot to visualize possibilities. Thanks

I posted Small Houses 1 last night. I finished the SMH2 today. I’m liking this project so far, and I’m getting used to the freezer paper method.

Yesterday I made some gaps for my houses, here in The U.K. we certainly don’t have long straight roads and I live in a hilly area, so I shall do more of these.
