Watched all the videos and following the forum. I just finished my first house. My tip is to use my small clover craft iron for pressing. I will also take fabrics from stash. Cut up fabrics for all the houses, now to the sewing part.

The next few blocks went together so much better and faster! So can I say a little addictive?
Which "craft iron" did you use? The little Clover that is just a smaller version of an iron, or the "stick" Clover? Thanks.

Finished 1 and 2. Far from perfect, but they are perky. It was a fun diversion; now have no excuse to put off quilting BOM 2020.

I must say I’m not crazy about the shot cottons . It frays and leaves many threads on wax paper . But I will deal with it .

I am enjoying the freezer paper method. I love paper piecing and will probably never do it the regular way again! I used world map for my background

First one done! I took 3 zoom classes last week so I am a bit behind. Planning to go back and watch some of the videos again, as some of the steps were a bit awkward. This method is great. And thank you to the quilter who suggested using the “in the ditch” foot—cannot imagine doing this without it.

I love ???????? The use of different colors in both your houses and sky!

I agree with excess thread loss. While ironing my fabric I noticed that it was cut poorly, not on grain in either direction. I'll have to deal with that too.
