This pattern does not have identifying info on the separate sections.

I'm so excited to get started. This is so different from any quilt I have ever made, and can't wait. Started collecting my fabrics, some from my stash, purchased some, including the background. 4 more to pick up. I also can't wait to see others fabric selections. So many possibilities!

I am debating between making it look Folk Art Color My World or going brighter with tone on tone batiks. I am trying a coloring page to just get an idea of what it might look like.
I have the flannel folk art, partially worked on. I like doing my planning before just jumping it. I love the way the quilt looks as designed, but I would like to use it in my house,
and it would not fit in at all. I bet I still change my mind a lot before I actually get started on it. HelenW

Helen, I used my photo and changed it to black and white, as light as possible, thinking this might work as a coloring page.

Is there anyone else planning to make this in the Central Florida area who might like to form a support group? I'm near Tampa.

After playing with Photoshop for a while, I now have an image of the quilt which can be colored in. Not the best, but it should work I hope :silly: .

                      Have a good day

Silberregen, This is perfect. I really really wanted a coloring page. I made a copy and ran down to my sewing room. Dug out my colored pencils and gave it a start. I plan to
try a lot of different idea. In this one, I was thinking brown bias tape with the variety of green tree tops. Make my Mariner's Compass multi colored. This won't probably be the colors I go with. Maybe green grass instead of a road for the inner road. Thank you so much. I just wanted to let others know, that it is a great way to try out ideas and see what
                        you think. HelenW

I watched Alex’s live feed from YouTube today and saw that Barbara’s “Let’s Begin” is queued up for tomorrow at 1pm eastern time.

I just drove my daughter and her family to the airport after a month here in Tennessee so haven’t washed my fabric but I do have it. Looking forward to getting started and back to my sewing room.
