          My three months’ blocks. I’ve never used the forum before so taken me a while to understand the tabs and how it works.

              That's a great idea, Karin, using a border fabric instead of sewing lots of narrow strips. I've ordered a striped fabric for mine. I hope it works. If not I will be strip piecing long strips together before cutting the shapes. In the meantime I decided to redo Block 1 in my new colors. I added some diamond shapes at the points so I could use some of my focus fabric in the block. Wish I had taken the time to fussy cut them. Everyone's blocks are so different. These are going to be some amazing quilts!

                            I made 8 inch blocks using raw edge appliqué and edge stitching pieces. I made some
                            variations in some of the blocks. I used the line drawing provided in month 1.I am having
                            so much fun with this BOM.Still need to make the appliqué borders and quilt it.
