Praying for Keri and her family during this difficult time that God would meet their every need and bring healing. Lifting the twins and their parents to the Lord, believing for wonderful and powerful growth with good health. My dad goes home tomorrow and starts home health!! Yeah!! If you think of me tomorrow, pray for my safety driving by myself to Georgia for graduation. Once I get into Georgia, my sister and BIL will be driving me around for the rest of the weekend. Monday I'll be making that drive again home. Thanks friends.
          Blessings,
          Jane

I'm praying for all those needs mentioned. I, too, will be on the road, though a short trip, as will several friends and family members, to attend Chelsea's graduation on Monday. She has been asked to speak at the graduation. She is very emotional right now as I'm sure you can imagine. If you think of her, say a little prayer that she will be able to "hold it together" (her word choice), especially while making her speech. Then on Wednesday, I leave with her and Tucker to go to Michigan because Tucker has to be "turned in" for his formal training. That is going to be sooooo hard on her.
I hope no one on this forum minds me requesting prayer for this situation. I do realize there are so many greater needs among you all. Fortunately our God can handle them all!

No need is too small for God. One time my oldest daughter prayed for her goldfish, after we anointed it with oil and the lump was gone and the fish lived. God is good all the time.

Thanks for sharing that, ritzy. It brought tears to my eyes. Btw today my dh asked " how's ritzy!" Seems we are all connected through this - we need each other, don't we all?

we sure have become quite a family here. Once in a while, usually at work, I wish computers had never been invented (lol) - but then I think of all the TQS friends I have and decide computers are a gift from God.

I apologize for my absence on the forums. Life gets in the way on so many levels, I'm sure you all know what I mean

First, I want to thank Robin for asking for your help. Even though we've never met, she's a good and dear friend, as are many of you. I know your prayers are reaching our Awesome and Almighty God.

Now, to the latest news. Last week, Keri had a lymph node removed from behind her right ear. This past Wednesday, the dr. called with the preliminary pathology, and said it was lymphoma. When we asked if it could possibly be anything else, she said no. So...we tried to wrap our minds around it and gathered our forces to fight this. Along comes Thursday; I get this call from a furious Keri telling me that the dr. called and said the pathologist came back with a diagnosis of Epstein-Barr!

Needless to say, we're relieved but angry. Keri's going for a second opinion, because if this lab was wrong once, what are the chances of being wrong again? She's going to find some new drs. as well. This all started back in October, with an infected lump in the front of her neck. Nobody ever did any bloodwork, aspirations or anything. The dr. in urgent care looked at it, told her it was a cyst and gave her a script for antibiotics. It happened again in February. She was sent to a dermatologist, an ob-gyn, and finally a plastic surgeon, who was going to remove it.
The day after seeing the plastic surgeon, the lump in her neck literally disappeared, and the one behind her ear popped up and was very painful. Since she already had the surgery date, the dr. took out the lump behind her ear-the lymph node.

So there you have it. She's out getting her medical records and she has an appointment with an oncologist next Thursday for the 2nd opinion. Please continue praying for her until she has some resolution.

Thank you everyone for rading this far................

Eileen, how scarey, frustrating and confusing for you all. I pray for a good healthy resolution to this situation. Hugs Pam

Eileen, indeed how scary! (I never know how to spell that word)

I agree, I think of many of you frequently, wonder how all are doing with their own personal crisis taming, and say a wee prayer for a general peace for all of us!

                                Eileen,
Such good news for Keri! Do you think that maybe it could have been lymphoma but God saw fit to heal that before it was even properly diagnosed? Just thinking it could be possible. Our human thinking says, of course, that it must be incompetence on the the part of the doc/lab, but sometimes God does work in mysterious ways. At any rate, I would imagine she'll take EB over lymphoma any day and I'm glad she is getting a second opinion. Keep us posted and we'll keep praying and praising!
