    Hugs to you and Ruth. It is so hard to see our children struggle.

      Dear Pam;

      She is blessed to have you as a Mom and back up at least. So sorry to hear her bad news. If she is in the states and near Bluffton, SC I am all ears!! Not licenced but I am a professional thru years of experience in law enforcement. I know my limitations when it comes to counseling but sometimes a friend close by can really help! Until then, we can all keep her on our prayer list. Have a safe trip home and we’ve missed you

        Dear Pam,
        I am sorry you haven't seen the improvements you had hoped for. I am sorry for what you both are going through. I'm not really sure that people who haven't suffered from depression or had a loved one suffer from it can really understand the complexity and deep hurt of the condition. I will continue to pray for you both. The Great Physican loves her even more than you! That's what I cling to when I'm having issues with my girls.

        Hugs,

            Pam, I'll be praying for a safe journey home on the 10th. Don't underestimate the impact of your visit in Ruth's life. What we can't see today we learn often way down the road meant more than we ever could have guessed. The power of God and the power of a mother's love surround her and there's no escaping being affected. You are a great mom.
            Blessings,
            Jane

                Pam, I believe caring for adult children is about the hardest thing in the world. It is so difficult when we can no longer call the shots, so to speak. I think making the choice for her to come home as easy as possible is probably the most helpful thing you can do. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you. Lois

                  Pam, Thank you for the update! You and Ruth have been in my prayers for some time now, and I was wondering how your supportive visit with her was going. It sounds like she just needs to be in the comfort of home and Mum! I pray all of the decisions made will lead to a deep, peaceful comfort knowing that it is God's will and plan for you both.

                      Gayle Simpson just posted this on a Member Blog:

                      Our good TQS friend "Jan from Spokane" or "fiberwoman" to all of you, is sitting in ICU recovery waiting to see her DH after brain tumor surgery on him - with other tumors left for now in other places. She has a long road to go on this one, as does he. Maybe many of you already know about this; I just read it ten minutes ago on FB. Let's send her three thousand hugs, and more.
