From your previous posts, I assumed as much! I am so sorry! May the Lord give you and Jerry's family the strength and patience to deal with the upcoming trials, and a peace in knowing that he is in God's hands.

      A BIG hug!

We do have peace knowing Jerry is in God's hand. It is probably the only peace there is to be had from this terrible disease. I haven't received a report today but no doubt--prayer is still needed for God's mercy on him and his family.

This is the last update I have on Jerry:
Today is another good day for my dad- he is up walking around on his own for the most part. He needs to have a bowel movement before he can go home. We hope that it happens soon- because there could be more complications if not. We also learned that my dad's case is considered rare because of the Parkinson's disease and the Kidney Cancer. They are concerned that he could have complications with the Chemo treatment because of the Parkinson's. Right now- we are focusing on getting him home. Please continue to pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors as they determine the best treatment plan. And please pray for my dad and that his body parts start working normal so he can go home. Thanks so much for all your prayers!

Ritzy, prayers to you and Jerry!! I hope the prayers from Aussie land help!!

Prayers for Jason as well.. sometimes these conditions are the hardest to find a way through..

Pina has Grade 2 cancer. Chemo to start in 2 weeks, and Radiation to follow. Her spirits are still incredibly high, especially as her son is struggling through his teenage years, with cutting and many suicide threats over the last 12 months. He was able to put that on hold for a week or two while mum was in hospital, but he is now avoiding school again and is in a bad way himself. The psychologists plan to put him on medication this week, as they no longer think counselling is going to be enough. The family are definitely still trying to find the good in what appears to be a tough time.

Prayers for Japan and all the volunteers whatever their role!

Karen, Jerry is my brother-in-law and I haven't heard anything today on how he is doing. The message above was the last message I received from his daughter. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry Ritzy...I didn't go back far enough in the forum or I would have known about your brother-in-law and not gotten confused....although I seem to mix things up more often now a days more frequently.

Karen--No problem. I had someone else get confused too. I really don't care--just want prayers lifted. With this exchange I have had lots of those confused moments ;0)

Word is Jerry is home and has four weeks of healing before they do anything more for treatment. The fact that he has Parkinson's also has complicated things for the doctors.

I lift up all those in pain, those that are in a dark place and those that are struggling. Please help the caregivers also so they don't lose faith.

The bus group to Sendai has now made 3 trips. They were able to get better equipment for the 2nd trip and had more join their group including a doctor. They had enough food for 2000 but only 1200 showed up so they left the extra food for another day. On the 3rd trip 2 doctors went along and they prepared 3000 hot meals. They could have fed more if they had the food. They will be leaving in a couple days for their 4th trip. This will be ongoing for some time. Please keep them in your prayers.
