Ann, I'm thinking of the other day when the Daily Blog asked what was our favorite features of TQS and you can add to your list that it enriches your blood!

Now we need some of that effect on you Rachel! Take care and God Bless you.

Even the doctor is puzzled about what I am doing right so as long as things stay even I do not have to go back to have my blood tested for two months.

It must be the La Veta air, Ann!!! You probably need to make it an annual pilgramige! Mary Kay

Hey! Me too! I'm sure I can find enough of my health issues that a trip to La Veta would cure! You betcha!

I will ask the doctor to write a prescription for an annual visit to LaVeta. LOL Then I need to win the lottery so I can afford retreat every year. Of course if I win the lottery I could probably afford trips to tapings and to retreat and then I could be three times as healthy.

Ann in Texas where is warming up again in the fifties Friday and yesterday during the day and forties at night. I came south for warm weather.

Do you think if we get our MD to write prescription, the tax man would let it be deductible health expense Sandi in FL

LOL! Denver used to be the place that patients were sent for tuburculosis (lousy spelling there!) for it's refreshing mountain air. There is something to say about the fresh air and beautiful mountains! And the La Veta air is even better! MK

I have kept up with what is going on here and have kept everyone in my prayers.

I have not been posting for quite a while. I hurt my upper arm, shoulder when we were in Texas last month. It is a lot better but still hurts while you move in certain ways. Some days it is a lot better then other days. Got some exercises to do.

Margarita, rest your shoulder as often as possible. Trust your instinct, if ice makes it better use ice if it is heat use heat. just be care and don't lift anything too heavy or pull on anything ok.
Ann, I am so glad that you are doing well I am so relieved to hear about your blood count, you have no idea.
Happy, stay strong with those kids and the officials who think they know best. But remember to remain open for suggestion. Some times bizzare is good. Believe me My whole life has been bizzare I wouldn't know normal if it slapped me accross the face

Just a quick update on the family. I talked Dad into going to the ER on Tues. I told him it was then and he could come home on Wed if necessary to stay or he go Wed and miss thanksgiving. He went. Thank God He was severly dehydrated his Hemaglobin was 9 :!: Yeah 9 :!: :!: :!: I thought they would have give him some sort of blood product but NOPE maybe keep him over night NOPE :!:  They gave him 3 bags of Sodium IV and if his ever fluctuating blood pressure didn't drop again he could go home  I was not happy. My mother would not allow me to voice my anger. She told me to be respectful  I told her this was not a matter of respect this was a matter of what was best for Dad and he needed hospitalization. I was over ruled by her 48 years of marriage and my 38 years of age. If my friend the head nurse of the ER had been there I would not have been over ruled at all
Scott is doing Great And I mean AWESOME :!: :!: He has very little pain which amazies me. He now says he wishes he had done this years ago  (we are not allowed to say we told him so)
St has surg. tues. I talked to his pain management Dr. over the phone he does not know this yet. His DR. agrees with me and he will petition the insurance agency about upping his oxycotin. He agrees that his tollerence to meds are very high due to his many accidents and to where his AVM is. He wishes to wait though until after this particular surg. due to the type of surg. it is. It is suppose to shrink it and break it apart. Let's hope it works. I would love to see my old brother again.
Anyway Thanksgiving was good I made 12 pies. All but 2 were devoured that night. we finished the last of the apple tonight. Go in peace God Bless All

As if life in my family wasn't stressful enough, this morning after my Fathers Dr. appt., on the way home, I recieved a call that my sister's husband died. This was NOT expected he was NOT sick!!! Please pray for her. I am sending this out during the time that I have between my home and her youngest Dr.'s office. The youngest has had to be sedated and I am in charge of her untill my sister comes back to her body. Her oldest daughter is doing remarkably well and her only son is in my Father's care. Thank you in advance lots of love to all

Rachel, I'm sorry to hear about your sister's husband. That is a lot of sadness for a family to bear along with the uncertainity of your dad's and brother's surgeries.

Rachel, dear heart, I am so sorry that one more thing has been added to your list of concerns and worries. I send up prayers for you, your sister and all of your family. We never know why we are given the burdens that we are given and it is hard to understand why so much happens in one family, but I know that God will give you and your family strength to deal with this new challenge. and in the end I know and believe that God is Good, All the Time, All the time, God is Good. One day that will be clear to you again. Love, hugs, and prayers, Ann
