I don't have a lot of Kaffe's fabrics and any florals I collect tend to be abstracted but of course digging in the stash reveals quite a few options. Alex's peeks on what she is doing have been quite helpful. I am not a fan of mystery quilts but I can definitely embrace this way of working. Luv it!

Not yet. I have a quilt to get off my design wall and I am just starting to think about what kind of blocks I want to make. Fabric is pretty much decided but thats all.

I've been thinking about which ones I'd like to make. the six inch size block sounds about right for balance between ease of making it and keeping the quilt size reasonable . I have so many Kaffe Fassett fabrics, it's not easy deciding which ones to choose. And, for my solids, I'd like to use some of the fat quarter bundle of Edyta Sitar solids that were out earlier this year. For the Sequoia Sampler, I kept fairly close to the pattern. I'd like to try being more improvisational with this one! Kathy

I missed the amount of fabric to buy. I have some but I wonder if Alex gave an amount to have for making the quilt.
                                Thank you.
