Was there any instructions on how to join the three pieces for the flying geese that make up the star tips?

I just lined up the straight edge and pinned it to keep the bias from stretching and then stitched so I could see the intersections.

I love the little pinwheels in the center of each star!

I agree with QuiltBob about attaching the light and dark star tips to the large white triangle. I am also following the original instructions (although I really love some of the variations!) I found one curious thing, when i attached the flying geese to the center of the star - the light star tips do not nest with the body of the star - both have been pressed the same direction. I think that i followed the pressing directions in the pattern - and pressed to the dark in the light star tips. I have considered pressing to the dark in the tips - but wonder if someone else has a better suggestion. Thanks!

I love your quilt Helen! The moose are so nice. Did you draw your own holly for it? It is so beautiful!

Just starting my quilting. I draw a little with frixion pen, stitch a little. I outline stitch the applique with white to match the background. the holly leaves in the star background are a faint green thread. The meandering in the white background is a faint blue. The quilting shows but not too much. HelenW

                  Length is preferable IMHO

Padma99, No I did not draw the holly leave design. You can buy it at Urban Elementz. I too love the way it looks. HelenW

I enjoyed Margo’s quilt label instructions. She said she would give links to the Sukiniko(?) textile inks and the Pigma Micron pens. I don’t see that in the Youtube comments or in this forum. Can someone provide the links? Thanks
I will check and see if TQS has had a show using the textile inks.

I don’t see any links either. Maybe with the next newsletter.
