Thanks, Kathy. I'll try that later.

So, still waiting to see if the theme for the next CW has been decided?

Too impatient Terrie :cheer: . Would someone like to choose a theme for the next challenge? Shall we make it 3 months again so the reveal date would be 1st July.

Not that I have played in the last couple challenges, but how about a theme of your favorite book.

Sounds good to me! First I'll have to decide what my favorite book is...... It'll be nice to have this to think about for a while as I work on other stuff.

Favourite Book sounds great. Good excuse to go back and re-read several to try and decide which one it is

Hmmmmm.......my favorite book? Oh, my! That is a hard one! I'm glad I have three months!

Rosemary, cute cup! Now, how many did you say you have to make? Oh, I am now in love with the frog tape measure that you sent me a few years ago! I never really used a tape measure, but my new sewing machine gives all of the embroidery dimensions in mms. And, little foggy, having both inches and mms, works great to kind of see the size the design will finish out at. Thanks again!

                      Dawn,

Good idea - but which book? Not even sure if I can do this next one as I have a busy few months coming up, but I will do my best. I am still working on my Libby inspired one. It is now a lot bigger and I am hoping that I can get it done in time for FoQ. hmy:

Does that mean that you might be over again for FoQ this year Rita? I've been busy working on my miniature, thinking I might enter it. A quarter of the way round so far :cheer:

I am hoping to be Rosemary. I will be in the UK the week before and hoping to extend it to include FoQ.

Lorna, are you back in the States now, or still in the UK? It is so exciting to be retiring. I wish you the best. Hope you have lots of quilting time now. My DH was in the AF for 20 years. It is funny how different civilian life felt then. Now on the rare occasions we go to the base it really seems strange there. He retired 29 years ago so things have really changed.

Rosemary, can't wait to see your miniature...and your Libby-inspired quilt, Rita! what fun!

I am still in the UK, Cathy. My retirement ceremony is 10 June (3pm, RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, if anyone is interested in coming. Let me know). The movers come pack us up the following week after the ceremony and then I think we sign out of here on 19 June. Can't believe it is practically on top of us. We are going to actually try to spend some time in France before heading back to the US. All of our stuff will go into storage for awhile. (I can feel quilting withdrawals coming on as I think of it!)

Thanks to your husband for his service...and to you! It's not easy. Retirement will be exciting. Big transition. I'll miss what I do now but looking forward to whatever lies ahead.
