    Hi,
I am printing from my desktop computer. I have an HP 8710.

    Thanks for any help.
Do you have the full drivers installed? I know HP has watered down drivers that are quicker to install, but don’t have all the features. I don’t have this particular printer, but do have two other HP printer. Have not had an issue with printing at Actual size.

I installed new drivers but still no luck, it is 1/16 too small. Frustrating to say the least.

Hi as suggested by someone else in another post. In your printer properties (drop down menu) choose A4 as your paper size instead of letter. You won't get the bottom of the page as A4 is longer than letter but you get everything you need. Hope this helps.

Try setting your paper size to A4 (instead of 'letter'). This worked on mine.

We ended up printing at 103%. Trial and error

Thank you everyone for your help. I finally tried a different browser and that solved the problem. I was using Mozilla and when I switched to Google Chrome it printed with no problem. I have no idea why that would make a difference but it works. So if you are having problems try a different browser. My frustration is solved, yeah.

Thank you! I’m starting late and had this same size problem. Great to find the help I needed here.

I changed my HP printer to A4, worked great for the paper piecing patterns of the houses but not the background copies. Did I understand Barbara to say that as long as we cut out the background pieces as stated on the pattern, the sizing of the printing of that portion is not important?

Yes, that is correct. They are just a guide to show how to cut the rectangles.
