    Reducing the size of the pattern

    Because the pattern includes the seam allowances, reducing will also reduce the quarter inch seam allowances.
    To avoid this, print the pattern. Cut the seam allowances off.
    Cut the pattern out and add new quarter inch seam allowance.
    Extra work, but if you want the correct allowance, this will do it.

    Rhopler, That would work, I saved a little time by just laying the 1/4" line of the ruler on the sew line and tracing a new seam allowance line in a different color ink that was a full size 1/4". HelenW
