Hi Barbara, I am waiting on my fabrics to arrive. Just watched the pre-washing video. What do you think about serging the edges of the fabrics before you wash? This will be my first time to use freezer paper with paper piecing and I am looking forward to your BOM. Also this is my first post in the forum, I hope to do it correctly. -
You posted just fine. I don’t have a serger but even if I did it would feel like work to me so I wouldn’t do it. I expect a little raveling when I pre-wash so it doesn’t bother me. And making the small diagonal cut on the four corners helps enough for me.Originally posted by "MelanieMonti" post=152715
You could try washing one piece of fabric with laundry to see if you think you need to serge.
