Small Houses 1 and 2 patterns

I have searched and searched and cannot find the patterns for the houses. Got the general info showing colored pic of quilt and fabrics and coloring page for the center but where are the house patterns and the simplified cutting pattern for the background fabric?
Update today Sat 1/2. Today I went to Classrooms then Downloads for Classes and the BOM 2021. Everything is there today. Both the pattern for the houses and the pattern for cutting the background was there and opened. HOORAY!

I too have tried everything to find the patterns... I have logged out, changed browsers, made sure my star membership was activated restarted my computer ...and. nothing.
Not sure why I cannot access patterns ..I see there are 4 posts but only the intro ones appear.

I’m having trouble getting the pattern for the small houses 1and 2 to print to the correct scale. My 2 inch square prints to 7/8. How do I adjust the pattern?

        Hi --

Just wanted to reiterate that you CAN find the Small Houses 1 and 2 instructions in the Class Downloads.
I just downloaded them and printed them.

Barabara and any experienced paper quilters, help!

I am new to this (have just paper pieced one project before this). I cut out the fabric for my first small house #1. When I go to sew the fabric onto the next piece, (as in b to a in the lower part of the house) the fabric is short on the seam side. I see that some of the fabric does not extend all the way to the final exterior line. Should I be cutting the fabric pieces larger than what is noted?

Thank you for any help that you can provide as now I will need to redo all of my first house as it is incorrect. It appears to be smaller that what it should be as the exterior lines extended beyond where the fabric ends. Help!!!

PaolaRb, Can you take a picture. I am having a hard time visualizing your description. HelenW

Did you cut the pieces this size? And did you lay the door down so at least 1/4 above and below the sewing line. Then trim the door with add a quarter align the piece two
so at least a 1/4 above and below the area to be cover. Stitch by the freezer paper and press open. Without a picture it is hard to visualize what you did.

Those pieces (a, b & h) are all the same length of 3.5" so should line up. Firstly, I would check the measurements of those pieces and also that your printer is printing to the correct size. There is a 1"x1" square on the template page to check the scale. Sorry if you have already done this. Pictures alongside a ruler would help if this doesn't remedy. Good luck.

FYI...I have the HP8600 Printer that routinely prints at 100%. For some reason when trying to print the BOM patterns from the website the printer converts to 92% and I need to manually change it to 100%. This is just another reminder to check your printer settings.

My printer says 100% in the little square but when I measure it ' it is a tiny bit smaller than 1 inch....how do you adjust this? Are finished detentions given for small house so you can check their size???

PaolaRB, Did you remember to trim the door to 1/4 inch seam allowance before placing piece 2 to sew??? Also I recommend you make a single sample block so you can
work out any problems before you do the 8 in a row chain style. HelenW

Printers are an absolute anomaly! I have two choices on my print menu that work for me. One is '100%' and the other is 'Actual Size'. If you have that option, you could try and see?

Is there a time limit one must wait through until the additional files are made available in the classroom handouts - i.e. for the patterns?

I keep logging off/on, waiting to find the pattern - yes, I am a star member - but the only downloads available are the 1st & 2nd - Fabric requirements and coloring page.

he classroom handout shows (4) files, but every time I check - there are only two files available.

                          Thanks!

Ninabeheim, your account was checked and was fine. Go to month 1 and download the instructions/patterns.
