Here are all my little houses and they were fun to make using the freezer paper method.

Did the Mariners Compass. All the fabrics used have silver shimming thru them

Everyone inspired me with their beautiful houses. I decided to not only use the luminous fabrics from the kit, but to add some of my own to add some visual texture. Here, finally, is my set of fabrics ready to go:

Once I got started, it was a breeze! So glad to have the stitch in the ditch foot on my Janome as well as the 1/4" foot with guide.
                Freezer paper rocks!

Finished my blocks last night, just in time. I hung my strips to keep handy throughout project.

PamMcd, are you making a smaller version? If so, can you share how you are doing that? I really want to make this but don’t want it as large as the pattern is. Want to hang it and don’t have a place to hang that large a quilt.

This is the size given. I don't know for sure, but what if you printed the freezer paper patterns at 50% or even 25% ? It looks like if all the patterns were printed at the same reduced size, it would work out. I have NOT done this and do NOT know if it would work. I am just thinking out loud.

Here are my first blocks. I apparently like polka dots...I really didn't realize that until I looked at what I pulled from my stash!

Well your quilt so far is beautiful! Thank you.

I've been printing the pattern at 60% and following the suggestions made by Helen in the forum last month. You need to resign the 1/4 inch seam allowances after you print but otherwise it seems to be working fine.
