        Sewmarti,
thank you! I am new to this technique. I chose this background fabric as I hope to add clouds in the sky via appliqué, if I don’t find it too hard.

I have not used my 10C foot yet but can I assume that I will need to use the 9mm plate and move my needle position in order to get the stitching close to the paper edge fold? I have a new Bernina 770 so I'm alittle challenged but I think the 10C foot would work.

I used mine today. I think mine is just the 10 foot from an old machine. I used the single hole plate and didn’t move the needle. It worked great! I have the 770 as well.

A student yesterday in the year long local class I’m doing said the same—single hole plate, no need to move the needle.

I am going to play with it later today to see if I like it.

Oh, this reminds me so much of my years in Africa, especially ile de la Goree in Senegal. This quilt makes me happy. The first one was a hassle, but now I have seven number 1 done. I use my regular foit A on my Elna.
