Lynneanne, ROUGH ESTIMATE OF THE SIZE OF SMALL HOUSES AT 60 % SIZE OF ORIGINAL
Just playing around, but it would be close to this. Does your printer allow you set by % for custom size? HelenW
PS There are a couple stray lines, I start vertical and then changed to horizontal and did not want to waste the paper.

HelenW, my local shop carries all of Wendy Williams current patterns, you can order online and they ship.

Currently out of stock but if you send a message that you want it, she will get it for you. I am eager for Full Circle to be released later in 2021, I love it and saw it on the set when taping The Quilt Show last August.

I am working on making small stars using the freezer paper method for a challenge quilt. I started out using paper and small stitch length method but ran into problems removing paper because of size of pieces. I decided to try the freezer paper method. I had to make several trial runs to make sure all worked out. I could use the 1/8” ruler on the inside but had to make sure I have an adequate border surrounding the star to allow me to piece the stars together. It isn’t something I can leave and pick back up without some thought/study. I am considering a reduced size in this BOM because I want to hang as well. My printer can reduce by these sizes with corresponding estimated quilt size.

        78% 54.21 square
        61% 42.39 square
        59% 41 square
        57% 39.6
        47% 32.66
        45% 31.27

I think 78% is my preference but will wait to see the instructions and do a couple of trial houses first to see if I think I can do it. It looks complicated enough without adding too much to the process. I am definitely looking forward to getting started.

Thank you for the info. I just ordered from the quilt shop in Port Gamble Wa. Only one state away from Idaho. They had it in stock. Is Full Circle a new quilt by Wendy? HelenW

Yes, Full Circle was a BOM Wendy did for Material Obsession in Australia this year. I saw students work on Instagram then got to see the actual quilt in Dallas. It will be on the show that airs Friday January 1, 2021. Wendy said she hoped to have the pattern available in early 2021.

Thanks Helen, 41 inches would be a good size and my printer will do any %.

SAMPLE AT 60% I was surprised how small the pieces are at 60%. I used the Add a 1/8 inch ruler for the inside seams, and add a 1/4 for the outside perimeters.
First thing I did was to take my colored pencils and mark my vellum paper so I would get the right color in the right spot. I don't plan on taking off velum until things are complete
sinceI know how important accuracy is going to be. I bought flannel, but I don't think it will work since it has more bulk. Will give it a try, but might have to resort to fusible
raw edge if I really want to use it. No decisions yet. Going to play around with samples and ideas until I feel confident to really begin. Lots of quilters are going to find helpful
ideas these first few weeks. I have never been one to cut everything out before starting to stitch. Included a few screen shots to give a comparison to regular size.
I added a new quarter inch seam line after reducing the pattern to 60%. HelenW

Helen, here's my first try! Thanks so much for your instructions...you’re very generous! The pieces are tiny but it will work!

I've just become a Star Member and am thinking about doing the Color My World quilt. I can't seem to find the FINISHED SIZE of the quilt. I have limited space for displaying wall-hanging type quilts, so this is important information for me. Can anyone tell me what is the finished size of the Color My World quilt?? Thank you! I'm very excited about this project as I love Houses designs. Also, I haven't done Paper Piecing with Freezer Paper, so I'm looking forward to learning this technique.

The introduction packet is a good place to start:

Am I missing something?? I read through that document twice and could not find the finished size of the whole quilt.

Apologies......looked at document for third time and spotted size just under photo on page one! This is going to be too big for my display space, so I'm now going to have to work out how to reduce it. Fortunately, my husband is a mathematician and my printer will reduce documents by any percentage. I want it to be near to 52" square, so I will let you know when I've got the correct reduction, just in case anyone else needs that bit of information.

Several people, including myself, are reducing size. I believe 52” works out to ~75%. If you search in the forum you’ll find several discussions. It’s recommended to ensure you add to you seam allowance to get a full 1/4 inch.

                            Have fun!
