I'm a year behind also. Just finished the half square triangles.

I finally used the Hydrangea fabric I've loved too much to cut!! I had to redesign the Delectable Mountain block to piece instead of the paper piecing so I could fuzzy cut the triangles.

I need help posting the picture

Maillady010, when you post, scroll down to the bottom where you’ll find Attachments. Click on add file, and you should be able to find your photo to post. Hope that helps.

Maillady, That's really beautiful!! Hydrangeas are my favorite flowers, and your colors really do them justice! Great job on the fussy cutting. Bravo!

I am fortunate to live in Hydrangea country on Cape Cod. This is the perfect pattern. It was a long year and a half but so glad I started and followed thru. Thanks again with the help in adding the picture to my post

Maillady...Your quilt turned out WONDERFUL!! I, too, really love hydrangeas. My top is almost done. I have been asked to show it at my local Guild meeting on June 5, so that is my little whip to keep going. How are you going to quilt yours? I am planning to have it long-armed, but thinking about the expense makes me cringe.

So I finally finished quilting my Halo Medallion Quilt after three weeks on the longarm. It is a first for me to NOT follow a pattern. I had fun designing the applique' borders. I hope Sue Garman would be proud of my using her pattern and adding elements that speak to me.

Highdesertquilter, Sue would have loved it, I’m sure. She really seemed to love posting different adaptations of her patterns on her blog, so there’s no doubt in my mind that yours would have been featured. Beautiful job!
