Wendy - I've looked at that block too it does look complicated. Just finished the top border (flowers and hearts) and working on the bottom border (gate with flowers and dog). I'll post the top border picture after dinner.

                Hi all
I've been very busy this summer with my "day" job, but I will get back to this project this week. So, I will work on the pieced blocks for July, August and September.... Should have something soon...
                Thanks for your patience...

Here's completed Month 3 Hearts and Flowers. I ordered 1/2" hexagons shapes online realizing after they arrived I needed 3/8" hexagon shapes instead. I cut them down to 3/8" per side and used. I really like my Forget Me Not flowers and red paper pieced heart!

I assembled the gate block today I should have taken up Andrea's offer of her 1/2 size paper pieced pattern, I was surprised it took most of the afternoon to assemble but I'm pleased with the outcome.

They look so good Barb. You get to love hexagons even tiny ones after doing all these

I've not done June, July or August yet but I've got them drafted on paper. Go on Andree yours are so inspiring

I've drawn it out for foundation piecing. Here's the pics if it helps anyone to work out how to draw it, I'm not going to give the measurements for the piecing I know they're not accurate Andree is so good at it. Anyone brave enough to piece it as per original instructions in half size
