It is good that both of you are going to the appointment. Sometimes one person will hear what the other misses.

A friend of our family is very close to going home to God. He's been ill quite a while and went into cardiac arrest on Friday. Since then he's been in CCU on all sorts of machines and medications. Yesterday, the family stopped everything but the ventilator-they don't want him to be in any distress. There's no visible brain activity.

I'm asking for prayers for his family, that they can make it through this difficult time.

      Thanks,

When I was getting my radioactive dye pictures I was praying for Terry on Monday when my surgery hadn't started. It gave a feeling of strength to me. Today, I found out my D and C was a benign polyp. Thanking Jesus for this wonderful news. Now we just need to see if my lymph nodes they took out have any melanoma cancer in them. THe surgery Monday was for 3 1/2 hours and I think it took longer for me to wake up. My dear husband Richard waited all day for me to recover and be ready to drive the 1/2 hour home by 10:30 pm. I was the last one out of the recovery center and thank the Lord I didn't have to stay over in a strange big city hospital. I have so much to be thankful for, especially for all of you who prayed for me especially on Monday. I felt buoyed up by everyone's prayers. Now that I have caught up with this forum, I'll be praying for Lorra's cousin, Eileen's friend and family, Ritzy's friend Jerry and God's mercy on his family. And especially Dawn and Terry. Hugs and love, Jan

Dana's (dlquilter) Mother had a stroke this evening. Please keep Dana, her Mother and her Family in your prayers. Dana is headed to Columbia now, where her Mother is at the hospital getting care. I will share information as I hear it.
