Having lost both of my sons, I know Beccah's pain. But I never was angry with God. I have always said that God gave me my beautiful boys, but life took them away. It is not God's intention that any of us suffer. These are hard times, and hard lessons to learn.

I am a Third Order Carmelite, and one thing that helped me is from St Theresa, the Little Flower, who said, "Life is not sad, it is this exile that is sad; life starts in Heaven" after one of her novices said how bad life was.
      You are in my prayers.

Just a note to let you know I am home again and to say thank you for your prayer. Isabel Grace Ward lived 7 1/2 days and I thank God for each of them. Please know that your faithfulness to pray has helped me thru some very difficult days. Thank you--ritzy

Please keep my parents, (MargaritaW) in your prayers. There is a wildfire near their house and they have been evacuated. I will update when I know more.

                      Frances,
prayers onthe way. We used to live in CA with the wildfires. My oldest is still there, but he's in LA surrounded by concrete so he says he is fine.

Just got off the phone with my brother. Mom and Dad just left to go back home. According to the local newspaper, the fire is contained, there are still hot spots within the boundaries, but the fire isn't moving. There is a chance of wind again today. The fire area isn't as close to their house as was first thought. Thank you all for your prayers.

Thank-you Frances, and thank-you everyone for the prayers. The fire did not come close to our area, but was scary enough as it was. Lots of prayers are needed for the people that lost everything. At the moment we know of 2 friends whose houses are gone. There may be more. That neighborhood was about completely destroyed. Will update again when we know more, for now we are glad to be home safe. Thanks.

Hi all -- would you mind lifting up my son Jason. He is in the Air Force and is having trouble with his foot, Planter facetious - not sure how to spell that -- but is in serious pain. He is going to Air Force podiatrist and doing physical therapy -- inserts, medication, etc., nothing helping, but is very anxious about the pain and very worried about being asked to leave the Air Force because of his foot, which he does not want to do. That has not been mentioned yet, but he is concerned about it.

Also he got word that his unit deployment window will be December to May.

                            Thanks very much,

Sharon - I, too, have plantar fasciitis and the only thing that helps is an occasional steroid shot in the heel. Not very pleasant, but it really helps. Mary
