'I had an MRI last week and there was nothing to be found. No sign of the lump or the enlarged lymph node. The surgeon is amazed and pleasantly surprised as am I and my family, with the results from chemo and prayers.
Today I have to get injected a contrasting medium that'll "show/mark" my lymph system by my right arm pit, in preparation for surgery. The surgery was moved from July 8 to the 9 (tomorrow). I'm hoping there will be no cancer left to take out but we have to make sure there's nothing left at all. It'll be an outpatient surgery -lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node-, if there are no complications I'll go home in the evening. 2 weeks after surgery, Ill have five weeks of daily radiation to prevent/avoid recurrence.
Thank you for your prayers and support. Hope you all have a great week.

What Limbania describes is exactly what my mother went through, step by step, but a long time ago when medicine was not as advanced as it is now. The only thing she complained afterwards for years was that she couldn't lift her right arm up as high anymore as the left. My mum lived for another 23 years after all that treatment, and died of something totally different in her when she was 86. Limbania will get it sorted. There are soooo many quilts (and mug rugs ) she still has to make. Lounge Lizards are survivors!!

Glad to be back at home. Thank God and the surgeon everything went well with the surgery. Got some tissue where the lump was and a couple of lymph nodes out. Seems everything is clear from cancer now. Will find out for sure after we get the biopsies results in a couple of days. Also got the port they use to give me the chemos out, me thinks that's a great sign I'll star treatment again on Thursday with the Naturophatic doctor for a fast recovery from surgery and to get ready for radiation in a couple of weeks.
Thank you all for your prayers and support. Bear hugs.
