Hi! Everybody ! Wow, such terrific quilts showing up ! Can't wait to see more. Hoping TQS can set up a gallery here of all
the participants. That would make it easier for all . Everyone has a big investment of time and effort in this project! All winners one way or another!

Dawn...about the bleed....we always learn! You will always see it, but looks like you've got the worst removed! Beautiful all the same!
And love the view from your deck! Flathead Lake ?? Surely looks like Montana! Very stylish and painterly ! Not called "Big Sky " for nothing!

I was so lucky to be paired with Wendy! Now, that might have worked against us ...I'm glad I don't have to wait a year+ to have my quilt! I'm
sure she'll post it soon. It is very personalized for both of us and tells a great story about where she lives and what we do for fun. We chose
to work a landscape in 3 panels with a poem I like called "Ordinary Days" as inspiration. I think we did a grand job!! I sure got a surprise when
I saw a rendering of a quilt I made long ago in it !!

This is Wendy"s quilt...a bit of my part of Idaho and our abundant wildlife !

    Ok Wendy.. your turn !

I want to live in Idaho. Yes I had fun making a personalised quilt for Marilyn and wondering what she was up to. It's like looking through a window on a really cool scene. Now I know it's Marilyn's journey to her quilt shop it's even better.

Geneva your quilt is so good and the curves make it really interesting. I've been appreciating modern quilts more and more recently and must have a try perhaps inspired by Matisse. Congratulations on being a reserve that must feel special. Here's hoping some forget to post theirs in time.

Anyway here's my effort showing my 'Ordinary Day' and a walk to a quilt shop to a lovely surprise.

I’m so loving these quilts. Can’t decide what I like better as every one is so different and beautiful.

Wendy is pairing us “single teams” up because Some would not get to exchange a quilt. Lucky me - I get to do two exchanges and to have another go at making a miniature quilt! I may just learn to become more patient or at least figure out how to do perfect points, or not :silly:

Today I have been continuing quilting a hopefully soon to be given to it’s recipient long time WIP ( quilting about half done) and sandwiching a baby quilt. Tomorrow I get to select the fabrics for the mini and continue on making the top for another baby quilt... good times! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Well in my virtual retreat when we had the deluged now passed I had a go at the mosaic techniques from Cheryl Lynches show. She doesn't ship to UK so I made my own patterns. Lesson learnt Mark the side of the release paper from Steam a seam2 the wrong side bonds to the fusible really well!!

With Cheryl's permission I'm teaching at a workshop for a local quilt group I used to belong to. So hoping for lots of fun with old friends.

                          Wendy,
Lovely job on your Mosaics, and congrats on the teaching gig. Lucky local quilters!
After seeing Cheryl's TQS show, I bought the kit for the Queen Bee and I hope to design my own mosaic one day.
(picture when I've actually done it! :-)
