I agree that you should pre-wash your fabric. When dry, starch and iron before cutting.
On another note, if you are looking for Kaffe fabrics or like in my case, polka dots, I recommend
    lyonquilting.com in Colorado. 303-823-6067.
They are featured in this month’s Quilt Sampler.

I’m not finished with mine and I thought it needed something more. Hence the polka dots. Any suggestions are welcomed.
    Thanks,
    Mary
I went to visist and the url is lyonsquilting.com

Here’s my quilt label for my Mystery Quilt. I struggled the whole way but can honestly say it has been an exciting challenge. Karen Bodeen, from smoky Yakima, WA.

Still debating adding a Kaffe border that would mimic the color wash effect in the quilt. This was a lot of fun

I took a couple of days off to rebuild my design wall. I needed it bigger for this behemoth. Here is the new wall (I know the lines aren't exactly straight, but they work for me!) and the quilt as of today

Hopefully I will be posting pictures of the finished quilt soon

I can't seem to figure out how to send my picture to the forum. Please help. I used Jane Sassaman's Butterfly Garden fabric and I love it.

I love the way you have fussy cut the Kaffe fabric. Such a pretty setting.

I was inspired by polka dots and large stars with this project. Made the blocks twice once with the Kaffe and then with bluebonnets. I learned so much.
