I looked at the description, so I'm musing over what my pillow will look like this month. I have her Craftsy class and watched it when it first came out, but will have to rewatch it. I glanced back at the materials and she has a good variety of nice quilting designs. She divides them into categories like Leah Day does, so you can learn the algorithm for the category and then play around with variations. I think that's a nice approach for learning how to execute the designs and how to find your own variations.

I got lucky and my name was drawn for one of the prizes last month. I'll be getting an assortment of Udderly Smooth products. Woo hoo!

Congratulations :woohoo: I understand it's good stuff. Bi must have a look at the March entries. I drew out designs but never got round to sewing it up. I love the graded colours of this one.

Renata her quilts are wonderful I shall watch out for it but there are some videos on her blog as well

Okay, so I am a day late and a dollar short but this is what I have so far. This is my second attempt at a Libby Lehman challenge quilt. The first one died when I managed to melt my perfect satin stitching around an appliquéd circle with the iron. I still have to quilt this one but as that will probably take me the rest of the month I thought I would show and tell now. :cheer:

As you can see I have gone for a much less original approach than Nancy, Wendy or Barb, but all the same I do like it and have really enjoyed making it. I will post a photo when I get it quilted too.
During the past few months I have watched and re-watched all the classes with Libby Lehman and I really have to say that I love her teaching style and her sense of humour but most of all I really love her beautiful and original quilts. Thanks to TQS for making her DVD available to us.

Your Libby-inspired piece is beautiful, Rita! I very much like how the colors of the ribbon and border squares play on each other drawing the eye out but back in to the center at the same time. And, is the chocolate background edible? :silly: Congratulations and I look forward to seeing it when the quilting is complete. I'm sure it will be gorgeous. BTW, you have some beautiful fabric!

Look under Watch-Shows & DVDs. There is a featured guest video produced by Ricky and featuring Libby. It's wonderful.

Rita, You are way ahead of me. Your ribbons are beautiful. I have watched Libby's DVD again and again. It's the 1st Holy Communion Quilt that has me tied up right now. It's on schedule but not done.

An edible chocolate quilt..... now there's an idea. I am surprised some enterprising company has not come up with that one to sell at all the quilt shows considering the very obvious connection between quilters and chocolate. I mean Terrie's encouragement photos are all well and good, but they do lack that crunch and melt in the mouth. Thanks for the compliments ladies. I just have to figure out how to quilt it without messing it up. Now, where did I put that burlap sack..... :woohoo:

Wow! I miss a few days checking the forum and beauty appears. Nancy, Wendy, Barb & Rita each quilt is stunning and yet so totally different. I love how you each found different aspects of Libby's wonderful talent and made it your own. Well done.
