Wow, Sue, I'm not sure if you changed your profile pic recently and I've been blind, but your new picture with that gorgeous baby is such a good shot. So lovely and almost iconic for a grandmother in a rocker.

Side tracked from being able to piece or quilt recently by this outfit

Does my bum look big in this? :P

We are describing the style as Ele-goth B)

But now it is finished I can perhaps go back to my quilting, unless the tea set gets in the way

Rosemary! That is awesome! You are so talented! All that lace and finery. Makes me get tense just thinking of how to get all that through Sybil, temperamental one that she is.

              Wow!

Rosemary, Your daughter (Izzy? right?) looks adorable. All you need is your DH finding more projects for you to do to keep you away from your quilting! :silly:

BTW it's getting close to time to post our latest challenge. I must confess, I've not been working on my "inspired by Libby" project although I fully intend to do so. But when? Time's a'wasting. It's definitely going to be a small project.

                    Rosemary,
Just beautiful. Beautiful gown on a beautiful young lady.

Rosemary, I love Izzy's dress. I would love to see a picture of the back and front full on. It is beautiful. I have some granddaughters who do old English dancing. They would love this. Their mother makes their dresses too. What time period would this on be from? I am thinking late 1800's.

Rosemary, dress and model quite beautiful!! I used to have the most fun making dresses for my daughter when she was small - did the whole gambit from French handsewing to smocking. Then she got a little older and blue jeans and oversized t-shirts became the dress of the day! At that point I turned to quilting!!

I just stopped by to say " Hi!" to all of my longtime friends! I'm am stuck on the couch, with the flu! Otherwise, I would be in my quilting room, designing my Hoffman Challenge. This will be my first year for that!

Rosemary, the dress is beautiful! I've always enjoyed making "costumes"!

I recently finished a really cute table playhouse for my granddaughters. Major job! I can't figure out how to post a photo of it, but if you search "Indoor playhouse" on Pinterest, my board should pop up under boards. It's the first three or four photos.

It is actually a jacket and skirt. The skirt is a half circle skirt for the top tier trimmed with lace and a straight grain ruffle trimmed with black gros grain ribbon with a black net half circle skirt over the top with a black net ruffle (all I can say is thank god for the old singer rufflette foot!) The jacket is based on this one again with the black gros grain ribbon trimming the peplums of the pink wool with the black net over it.

                              Here is a front view

sorry I forgot to photograph the back view, but it has 6 D rings (2 rows of 3) for the lacing on the back.
