Hi, everyone! I have just spent the last 1+ hours reading the mug rug news and scandal...you are about the funniest group of ladies I know! Lorchen, your granddaughter is SO precious, and I know you are enjoying every minute you can spend with her. And what an extraordinary parade of creativity in EVERYONE'S mug rugs! I have just about caught up with my "have to" sewing, then it's back to wild and crazy with you lot!

Also, thanks for the tutes from Norma and Ritzy...inquiring minds want to know!

Here's a lovely package I received from Terrie...





A veritable bird bonanza...chickadees on one side and loons on the other, with a bonus helping of bird stamps! Along with the mug rug, came a lesson in Canadian currency. Did you know that the $1 Canadian coin has a loon on it, and is called a "loonie"?

So that got me to thinking...perhaps we need to have an official Lounge Lizard currency...and what better for this group than the loonie! (since I am at a loss to come up with a better one word description of us!!!)

And maybe we need to get to work naming "Official Lounge Lizard" products (I.e., official wine, official chocolate, official single malt scotch, etc.). Think of the revenue! Think of the yards/meters of fabric we could buy!!! :lol:
