Hurrah no 5 nearly done, I was worried you wouldn't be able to have it.

When are you off to Terri's Lotti? I've been getting on with another mug rug, it's such fun trying things out small scale if a bit fiddly.

      good morning wendy...
i'm flying to montreal on the 18th of may and will be flying home again on 20th june...
once i'm home and see the lay of the land - i'll get together with terri. my dad is scheduled to have a week's chemo starting on 4th june - which means i'll be in longueil (south shore of montreal) every day that week...
my muggies are coming along - now to figure out a way to write on them...
will probably take them on the plane with me to finish up - doris' quilt almost done yeah that wouldn't be so practical to do on an airplane

Now that the clock has started ticking for me with the Chinese Whispers quilt (I received Nancy's CW quilt last night and it is gorgeous) , it is "all stop" on mug rug making for me for the next 50 days or so. I was at the half-way point with mug rugs, six mailed and six to go.

Those of you who have received (or should have by now) are: Lorchen, Lotti, Marilyn, Nancy R., Nancy W., and Wendy. Please let me know if you have not gotten yours.

When Chinese Whispers is over, I will be resuming mug rugs for: BJ, Limbania, Maureen, Norma, Rita and Robyn. If I missed someone here that I had promised a mug rug to, please let me know. I hope to be on Rosemary's next list. Did I miss anyone else?

        Down periscope!

            Renata,
What a peaceful Japanese farmhouse...reminds me of the Zen gardens with just sand and a few rocks, all perfectly placed. Wonderful for that afternoon cup of tea and cookie/scone/biscuit.

No rush Renata, you'll get back to the mug rugs when you're ready, and they'll be little masterpieces, like all you make. Love the Japanese farmhouse, just looking at it gives you a sense of calming peace.

Enjoy your newest, oh so pretty, mug rug Marilyn!

Renata, is the Japanese farmhouse another place we get to visit on our TQS world tour? The TQS jet is certainly going to be busy! Beautifully done!

Limbania, I'm so glad to hear you managed the #5 and I understand why you are reading the wall hanging over and over.

Now I'm a real Mug Rugger 8) . Look what was in the mail today
Thank you so much, Jane. I love it and I love the way you have taken the pattern in the fabric as inspiration for the quilting. As I write I have a cup of coffee on it and strawberries at the side.
