Wow, thanks for that introduction , I particularly like Carolyn's orange Wagga quilt, the circles look like dandelion heads

Thanks for sharing, Maureen. Terrific venue for the quilts to hang and be seen. Don't think you could ever bore a quilter with pictures of quilts so continue on please.

And, Rita, your Pam Holland little quilt is absolutely wonderful. Really like the stitching you did on it. Truly shows off the "T" to a tee.

                Some more Indigo pieces.

Gina's sailing boat is stitch resist. Sewing the design with strong thread, pulling the stitches up very tightly and then dipped it in the Indigo vat a few times.

We all made silk scarves that we sold for £20, good price so we sold a lot of them. Some of the ones I dyed with procion dyes first; the primary colours and then pole wrapped (Arishi) them and dipped them in the Indigo vat so we had some lovely colours. They sold on the first two days; you can see a green one in the photo (yuck, what an awful colour) but they flew out the door.

Susan made 4 hangings from old linen; crochet bedspreads and lace she had been given. They dyed all different colours of blue.

Maureen, I learned about indigo when I lived in Japan for many, many years, and love it, so what a treat it was to see your photos. The pieces are gorgeous and I would love to see more, even different views of the same pieces! Just lovely! THANK YOU! :P

I'm with Marilyn. Those greens ones would have been mine for sure (although what's the exchange rate to dollars of 20 pounds? (Sorry, don't know how to get the English pound sign on my keyboard).
