She wet felted the background and then needle felted the detail, machined the shadow on the trees and added embroidery for flowers and some French knots. Clever.

Love your felted piece Wendy; I am sure you were thrilled to receive it. My daughter has an embellishing machine and she produces beautiful silk felted pieces.
