Oh that sounds like great news Rosemary. This must have been so difficult for you all to go through while separated.

Good to get this news, Rosemary. I've been wondering but haven't been getting email reminders to look here so I thought there was no news. It's good to know the surgery went well, but I am sure you will be feeling even better when he finally gets home and so will Isabeau. Take care. I am remembering all my TQS friends in my prayers.

I'm praying for those of you who have reached out here; Rosemary, Brenda, Ritzy, and all others who have not expressed their particular burdens. Life (and death) can be difficult to deal with. I pray the Lord will have compassion on you, and give you comfort!

Just to let you know that DH is safely home. The relief all round (but especially on his part to be home again) is wonderful. I made him some 'Jewish penicillin' (sp?) - clear chicken soup, which he has had some of, and he is now resting in bed.

I'd like to request some prayer power if you would. As I wrote in my blog earlier today my daughter Bridget is pregnant with our first grandchild(!!!) She has gotten debilitating migraines since she was 14 but they have been relentless lately. If you could please pray for some relief from her headaches I'd really appreciate it. Those headaches won't know what hit them!

Oh, Karen! I've had a few migraines, and they are the worst! I will certainly be praying for Bridget! (Congratulaions on first grandchild!)

Has she spoken to her physician about acupuncture?
I suffered from migraines for many years, they were brought on by various things: certain foods, certain drinks, high pitched noises, weather changes, etc etc. when my old GP retired the young fellow taking over her practice also did acupuncture and suggested we try that... Generally I had to call and go in as soon as I felt a migraine coming... If I was early enough he could treat it and it would go away, if I was too late the treatment made it come full blast and I'd generally spend the next day or two completely immersed in pain, but after the fourth or fifth session (within a time span of almost two years), the migraines disappeared and havn't come back for almost 20 years. I still get headaches, but migraines have gone for the time being - hopefully for good!
