The Prayer List

Tonight I'm praying for everyone affected by bad weather, whether the cold in the U.S., or the cyclone in Australia. It's going to be 1 below zero Fahrenheit here tonight, which isn't as bad as a lot of places, but it's COLD! It took me most of the day, but I finally coaxed the second of two feral cats that we care for inside, where we'll keep her tonight. Right now she's curled up with her daughter Dora (who we adopted as a kitten) in my rocking chair, so I won't be sitting there for sewing tonight  The other semi-feral cat has been in almost all day, and shows no signs of wanting to go out.
Everyone, please stay safe and warm! Robin

Thank you everyone. I'll keep you updated. I like Robin's idea too.

I didn't hear about Australia; I'll add them to our prayers. Please send good thoughts to the people of Egypt that they can have a peaceful transition of power.

I am adding myself to the prayer list. No health issues. Just a sad heart. My dear friend Nancy Lee Adams passed away Thursday Jan 27th and was buried today. She and I have been quilting together for twenty years. We chaired quilt shows together. We shared all aspect of quilting and life as only quilting sisters can. There is an empty that will never be filled. I ask that you lift me up in your prayers as I move forward. Betty Ann

Betty Ann, I am so sorry to hear of your friend's passing. I pray that the Lord will comfort and sustain you through this. Hugs.

I pray also for all those affected by the severe weather conditions both in USA and Queensland Australia.

Yes. I've been praying for them. When will all these crazy weather situations settle down?! They are really being hit recently.

Betty Ann, I'll keep you in prayers and good thoughts. You have wonderful memories of your friend-nobody can take them away from you.

I heard earlier that the cyclone was downgraded to a category 3. Pray that it veers away from the Queensland coast.

I've just got word my Mom is in the hospital with what sounds like CHF (congestive heart failure), but she has a history of other heart problems so I don't know for sure until brother calls. Please add my Mom to your prayers. Thanks so much. Sandi

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. Mom's heart rate came down with the meds.....well, actually came down a bit too much, but, they stabilized that too. I managed to talk with the hospitalist MD that was assigned to her and he will get a cardio consult since I want it. What happened to patients MD's taking care of their patients? LOL..that's another topic for another forum. Cardio will see her again this morning and decide if she can go home or stay another day. Sandi

Ritzy -- will pray for your friend. Also many thanks to all the TQS members who are praying for my DS Jason. I am speaking with him often and he says he is doing better, but being 2,000 apart, he might just be giving me lip service. He did say he might be back at work within a month. Thanks again, but please keep thinking of him.
