Jen, your work in progress is beautiful! It is so important to have some me time to do the things that help center us. I'm glad you are taking the time to do this for yourself. Please share more photos when you can!

Kath, I received your row Saturday! Oh my! I love it! It's perfect for me! When I opened it up and showed my husband he said "She sure knows you!" My collection of wine, oil and vinegar bottles are wonderful! I love the colors also. Thank you so much!

My new grandson is so cute! He's a big boy and already out of newborn sizes by his 3 week mark. I love him so! And here's a picture of me sewing with my 21 month old granddaughter. She's the big sister. She loved my thimble!

The summer is flying by as we are traveling quite a bit. But I did get a little quilt made. Now I will quilt it. I've been working on content for my new website. I hope I will be done with that soon! And I've been going through boxes and boxes of my mother's old pictures and etc. Such a lot of work sorting.....

I hope you are all enjoying the summer. Take care! geneva

Kath, your parcel arrived safely today, love the fabrics.

Working manically on my FoQ entry - here is a teaser for you all...

Stab stitching my way around everything gets a bit tedious, but it just won't take a rocking stitch

Rosemary, so neat as only you can make it, I look forward to seeing it in August. Will you be going? Probably be there Thursday. I missed you last year though Lorchen said you were there. Hope you win.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Wendy, although it is different from the usual types of miniature quilts, I am not entirely convinced it is a winner. I really should have spent more time finessing the design. I plan on going on the Saturday this year.

Looking forward to see your finished piece, Rosemary. Sure it'll be gorgeous.

That's a beautiful quilt you're working on, Jen. One day I'll try to make something like that.

Such a cute helper, Geneva. Congrats on your grandson.

Love your avatar, Luann. A retreat with you all would be awesome. Hopefully some day...

All the rows you made are great, Kath, including mine of course. Love the "kissing hearts". Thanks a lot.

I'm looking forward to see what everyone makes with their rows/fabrics. I can see some gorgeous quilts in the near future.

Thanks again for your support. Your continued prayers/vibes/thoughts for total health are more appreciated than you'll ever know.

Here the fab pinwheel row I received from Kath, thank you so much, love it

And now off to the train station to pick up my friend Claudia and her dog, Minou for their first visit B)
I just made some lemon blueberry muffins and they're a bit crumbly - teach me to follow recipes... but they taste fabulous - and no not dry, just not holding together - my fault - I used a flour mixture with lots of stuff in it - should have added an egg

Just looked at the recipe - there was an egg - I just skipped it... oh well - taste very very good

Have a great day - everyone
