    Hello Marilyn
Your beautiful cosmic row is quite safe hanging in my new sewing room. I was looking for the pictures yesterday. And because most were taken with my phone on the quick they hadn't been saved in one place. So yesterday I spent a little time going through the posts and saving them all - but missed yours. Thanks for finding it for me - now I can play with the pictures to try and figure out what I want to do - not that anything will be happening soon as i still do not have the proper sewing table, quite a few boxes are not yet unpacked as I don't know where to put what, and will need to get two baby quilts and my niece-s quarter century quilt done before I start on anything else sewing wise...
But the weekend is coming up and I hope to get a step further.
Now I either go back to sleep or check all the rows to see what other picture has been missed...
    Rows I think  :P :P

Just put up all the rows - the fabrics haven't all been unpacked yet...

An now I get to sleep another hour ... reminder to myself: do not quickly look at the emails and get sidetracked into the forum when waking up at four am...
But there will soon be yummy smells drifting up from the bakery next door - and I better be asleep before then :P :P :P
Otherwise I'll spend an hour enjoying those smells and fantasizing about the beautiful fresh buns and loaves that have just come out of the oven. Luckily my car is parked on the other side of the house If I had to walk past that bakery every morning I would not make it to the car without a different bun or loaf of bread each day...

Oh! that's a good thing! Glad it's not lost! Now the bakery.... that's a nightmare in my book !! :woohoo:
Your rows look great together !! Haven't tried mine yet. That last hour of sleep is a treat!! Time for me to go to bed
as the DH has long been snoring !! :P Thanks again for putting my worry to rest !!

Don't forget the 3/4 cups sugar. Still okay for people who don't care for sweets (my friend loved them). I sprinkle a little sugar on mine.

Thank you Cathy. Corrected the recipe - sorry to admit that I do this all the time - and some people don't even question it - if the batter doesn't taste fab, that's the time to add stuff... but apparently there are people who don't taste the batter - which is actually my reason for baking, I love love love all kinds of cake, cookie, bread, whatnot batter - and generally eat my share before it goes into the oven

Thank you Cathy. I love batiks and this piece will work perfectly with the other rows I've received.

Also, to everyone, I don't have a follow up address for Rosemarie. Hopefully she'll pop in here and update all of us.

Thank you Cathy! Your row arrived yesterday. I love it. I'm especially honored to be a small part of your 12 year old granddaughter learning to sew. You are right. She did a fabulous job!

                      Happy Thursday everyone! geneva

Oh Cathy, your fabulously colorful row was in my mailbox today.

I so so so love it - and all batiks too - so so so me - put a huge smile on my face. Now I want a quilt in just these colors!
Yes I'm very happy with my haul!
And one day I'll have to very seriously think about how I want to put my fabulous rows together. But in the meantime I'm just going to enjoy them 'hanging around'
                        B) :P :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :P B)

Any news of Brenda. I'm thinking of you constantly and sincerely hope you're not affected after the awful year you've had and the renovations. Stay safe and everyone you know.

Wendy, I haven't heard from her directly, but unfortunately I would guess that she has probably flooded again or will, as this is hitting all the same areas as last time, only more so. I don't recall last year if her flooding was rain related or river cresting related, so it may be she's not flooded yet, but overall, this is hitting all of the same people as last year, plus more folks as the rivers are cresting at higher levels than last year and the rain of course was significantly worse.

All the images up to, say, Tuesday, were just flooding from the rain & bayous; the stuff from Weds. forward will be from the rivers cresting. Her area and mine had close to 40 inches of rain between Saturday and Monday (annual rainfall is normally 50 inches). My home is fine, and will remain fine, thank goodness. We have friends living with us temporarily, waiting on the river to crest so they can go back home (their home should be dry, but their neighborhood will be totally cut off).

Do, everyone, keep Brenda in your prayers. I will try and text her if I still have her number in my phone and post a better update; it's likely she's evacuated or hunkered down not thinking to check in.

Brenda has been posting on Facebook. They are safe, but did get several feet of water in their house.
