For those who wanted to work on UFOs, I ran across this UFO challenge from allpeoplequilt called 2015 UFO Challenge. http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/how-to-quilt/finishing/2015-ufo-challenge

It's not a new concept as I think I've heard of quilt guilds doing this same thing. You make a list of UFOs from 1-12. Each month a # is selected and that is the UFO you work on that month. I cheated as I didn't see the contest until the first number was already drawn so I made my current project that number. And...ta-da...1 UFO finished for 2015! woohoo! Now I can either get a head start on one of the other ones or work on one that didn't make my list. Decisions, decisions...

Nope, still saying 'page not found'. But I can click on any of the headings at the top of the page of 'All People Quilt' and go to any other page. Weird, huh?

Oh, wait, I can access it now, even weirder! Thanks for the link again. I will go and have a look at it now. :cheer:

Rita, try going to www.allpeoplequilt.com and search "ufo challenge". It took me straight to the article with the link for the form. It wouldn't let me on the page trying to use Lorna or Kathy's link here today either, but Lorna's worked fine for me the day she posted it. This kind of thing happened to me when I was posting the Christmas houses quilt on Tuesdays - the big computer in cyberspace wasn't always agreeable!

Over on threadbias, they have their own method of dealing with finishes. You sign up for a 3 month club, list a selection of unfinished projects you want to get finished. The group is divided into smaller groups of about 6-7 members each, Then here is the good bit :woohoo: , every one in your group has to send you a fq for each finish you achieve (although it was limited to a max of 2 fqs). If you don't finish anything you don't get anything, but you still have to send fq's to those that have finished a project or two. You can specify type or colour of fq's if you wish. I joined in for a year - four times, and started off specifying neutrals, and then switched to blues - got some great additions to my stash that way B)

How odd that the link works for some and not others. I just clicked the link and it works for me.

Rosemary, that sounds like a fun way too! I guess making a game of it increases the fun.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this.

Here is my first finish for 2015! Yay! I started this after Christmas and finished it last Friday.

This is an easy Debbie Mum pattern. I made this for my oldest daughter and her soon to be husband.

I machine quilted it on Sybil, my Bernina 730. I used an entire 500 yard spool of Superior Thread. Yikes!

So this is one quilt on my to do list that is done!
