I finished a project I started at the state quilt guild retreat last October. Well, I finished the top anyway. It is called Misty Pines from a kit I got at Keepsake Quilting. It was designed by Patti Carey. I really like the design, but it is a dreary looking quilt. I had fun making it. Now I just need to decide if I want it for a wall quilt, or add borders to make it a twin. It measures 56 x 71. I will take a picture and see if I can get it to post. Oops, camera battery exhausted! I have it charging and will post later.

I am trying to post the pictures. If it is sideways, I am sorry.

Here is the close view. Lots of points and I know some are chopped off. I switched machines half way through and I guess the quarter inch seams were a thread of two off.

Okay, I tried posting 2 pictures, but only one shows up. I will try the full view again. Remember this is sideways. It is supposed to be mountains at the top and then trees going down.

I must remember to always hold camera straight , not sideways, if wanting to post.

Great pattern, would love to see it in other colourways.

Thought I might try and join in with this BoM, whilst changing it up a bit - however I have been unable to download either of the instructions, I keep getting 'please login' notices when I am logged in dammit. I tried logging out and then in again, but that didn't work either. Contacted the Guru on Sunday, but still no joy

In the meantime, I have been getting on with the backing for my WotRott quilt :cheer:

I tried to download and saw that message about logging in, too. However, if you scroll down a bit on that screen, you will see "Download" buttons for the Intro and Month One which work. I'll report the problem. Thanks for the heads up!

I really like your quilt, too, Cathy--both muted colors and pattern. Thanks for showing it.

My DD just sent me a picture of her Misty Pines. She still needs to trim the quilt top. She chose her own colorway. The white at the top is really a light blue. The colors don't look as vibrant as they really are.

Cathy, your daughter's version is beautiful too! By the way, what are the little white markers on your quilt for? They don't look like they're part of the quilt but curiosity has gotten the better of me... hmy:

Rosemary, for what it's worth, I ALWAYS have to log-in twice. Once on the black and white page, and then in colour. Tiresome, but not the biggest glitch.

I'm guessing that those are row/column markers to get the blocks in the right place. We'll see if I'm right...
