Congrats to Wanda and the Amazing 9! Can't wait to see you all again!!! The only class I am going to take is Teri's. I will only three days, and I want to see as much of the show and the vendors as possible!

Let's all try to get to the TQS booth each day at 1:00 for the brief Meet & Greet and photo op!

Wonderful! I'm looking so forward to meeting you Nancy, and Helen, since we have done a bit of corresponding other than the forum! And, it will be fun seeing Margo, Wanda (a BIG congratulations!) Karen (also a BIG congratulations!), Sherry and Maggie again! And SoBeIt, did we sit at the same table at the TQS dinner last year? Oh, and I get to meet the talented Teri! Yea!

Oh dear, I see there is a second page going. Gotta go see who else is coming. (I'll miss you Renata, but someone always gets something really fun to due for those who are not heading to Houston!)

Congratulations to The Amazing 9! What a dream to come true! And speaking of dreaming--I do not think I have slept a wink since receiving the show catalog. October 28th is how many nights away!! I have considered using the lovely shade of blue that is circling my eyes in my next quilt!

I'm starting to count the weeks until Houston - can't wait to meet up with old friends and meet new ones. Being a part of the Amazing Nine makes it even more exciting, and I know it's going to be wonderful to see our quilt hanging. I cannot tell you how blessed I am to be part of such a wonderful group of ladies.

I just saw the photo of the quilt by the Amazing 9. It is so beautiful--from the initial concept to composition, colors, piecing to the quilting...simply exquisite! Congratulations on this masterpiece!

I'm going too. I've got two quilts in the show. I called for hotel reservations but they were booked tight. Does anyone know of an "off list" hotel, close enough to walk or catch a ride to the show? I'd appreciate knowing. Otherwise we'll have to wait and see if someone cancels out. So hope to see all of you there. It's always an amazing show.

I envy all of you the opportunity of going to Houston. Maybe someday I will get to go. I will content myself with the AQS show in Des Moines. Have lots of fun and learn as much as you can. Take pictures and show us how wonderful it is.

Pat, you could always try the Club Quarters 713-224-6400 . There are several of us staying there. There is also a new hotel kinda across from the George R Brown but at the moment I can't think of the name.
                                Happy Quilting,
