Hey Keith!! I'm listening to MGMT at this moment in time!

I had a little Baroque on this morning whilst kidding the Bernina I knew what I was doing to it.

Amoret!!! Yea! Mgmt at the same time! But what are you doing to me?? I went off doing some internet research to figure out why Baroque music would be taunting to a Bernina. I thought maybe there was a great Swiss composer that was constantly overshadowed by lesser French or German composers. Or that Catholic or reformation churches pushed the Swiss around. Or that Berninas prefer sleek simplicity instead of overstuffed ornamentation.

Then I stopped 'cuz I can be a little OCD that way and thought I'd just ask... I like comments that I don't get, but that are interesting enough for me to admit my lacking and to try to figure it out. Your Bernina doesn't like Baroque music? Please tell me more.

Should I see Angels and Demons? Should I watch The Sound of Music again?

Betty Jo - I will put ancient Moorish music on my list... Thanks! I like "high church". Most contemporary church is not my favorite...

And wow! Il Divo covered ABBA's The Winner Takes it All. In Spanish. I'm going to broaden my music...

Has anyone listened to a singer by the name of Jack Johnson? I really like him and he has a nice, easy voice to listen to---you know the kind of voice where you can actually understand the words. Also, I found it interesting to learn that he has the first all green recording studio in Hawaii of all places. It's kind of fun to learn about the various artists we all listen to.

Perhaps the Baroque is working Keith! Well I managed to work some peices off the Bernina that looked somewhat like I wanted so perhaps it's enjoying the music enough that it's ignoring the fact that I'm using the BSR foot for freestyle without actually plugging it in!!

(Must order No 24 sometime soon!)

Blues! Funky, chunky, loud and bluesy. Yup, that's what I listen to, when I listen to music.

However, recently I was turned on to books downloaded to my computer. That was great, except I had to pause the book to put on my earphones while I was using my machine. Then I had to pause the book when I got up and took off the ears to iron, cut or go to the design wall. My DH came to the rescue, and gave me a Zune player for my birthday (today) 8) It works beautifully, and I can just slip it into my pocket and keep the earbuds in the whole time - I can even wander around the house, and go outdoors, freedom! If you like listening to books, get some!

I have to ask this-where can you find Baroque music on the computer? Besides all the contemporary artists I've mentioned, I have a very soft spot in my heart for Beethoven. I love listening to him.
