Hi Rachel.....I know there will be me and three of my friends coming. We are all members of TQS. We are dlquilter, qltcrzy, wag1, and gingerwag. Maybe we can all meet. I can't wait for the show. This will be my 11th year to attend and I look forward to it all year.

Joy, I remember when you posted this before another show.....I am so glad I'll get to meet you this week. See you soon.

Dana from Olive Branch, MS already in Paducah for the show....I sure touched a lot of fabric today, but I only bought 2 yards of one wonderful batik.

I don't get to go to Paducah this year

Everyone that gets to go this year "enjoy yourselves" and let us all know how much fun you have.

Be sure to go see Joy. I visited her in Houston and went away with a lovely fat quarter of her yummy dyed fabric. Betty Ann

Wow, you all are making me envious. I'd love to be there with you. I did get to Nashville several years ago and it was glorious. Just didn't have enough time, but then, do we ever?!!

You all have a great time. Buy lots of fabric and eat lots of good food, perhaps lobster and steak every night!!

I went to the Paducah show for 20 years in a row, just missed the last two years because it's too far to drive in a day now that we're in TX. My friends and I stayed at the Executive Inn most years, not because of the luxurious accommodations, LOL, but because it was connected to the convention center and we could run upstairs for a rest when we had shopped until we dropped. It got shabbier every year. I do hope they keep the show there, though, it's a lovely little town to visit.

I will be competing at Paducah this year for the first time, but I don't have the quilt on my profile because I am too technologically challenged to do it! I entered a Mariner's Compass that I started in 1994, and had
in a box as a UFO until I decided to quilt it last year.

I really liked seeing everyone else's quilts and will be looking for them
when I am at the show! I have never been to Paducah before...can
anyone tell me a bit about how the show runs? Is parking easy?
Is everything housed in the Expo Center? What should I know before I
                                go?

Thanks and good luck to all of the Quilt Show entrants!!
