Get there early if you want to park at the Expo center. It fills up quickly and there is a charge. Be prepared for large numbers of people. Wear your walking shoes. There's lots to see besides the quilt show--tons of vendors, the museum, downtown (the stores have quilts in the windows), the Civic Center antique quilt show. ETc. -
Check with your hotel to see if you can catch the shuttle bus from there! Parking is always a problem, but if you get there early, you can park at the Expo center or in the lot near the museum. The Expo Center and the museum and the downtown area are within walking distance (with good shoes!) but there are vendors and other quilt displays in several locations farther away. Info is available at the Expo center where the AQS show is displayed.
