Maybe somebody from TQS will collect the photos of the challenge quilts and send them to Libby.

What a great little quilt Nancy! I love all the techniques you used and the actual picture is just lovely. Congratulations! I am sorry to say I have not managed to finish mine.....maybe in a few more days. :cheer:

My effort isn't anywhere near as exciting. I saw a quilt on Libbys legend show in 2009, it was an early one without a name before she used thread play to sew the ribbons.
This is my quilt inspired by that show

Sorry can't add from iPad back in a minute

So impressed with Libby's threadplay background I had to jump in. Here's my background with stylized flowers.

Your quilt is wonderful, Wendy! I love all of the movement. And the colors are gorgeous.

Love yours, too, Barb! The colors are so vibrant. and the flowers are so cute. I love stylized flowers, but never seem to have a place to put them myself.

Thanks! This was my first try at the water meander and I really like how it turned out. And, best of all, it's easy and fast! I was worried that it would look weird just putting little squiggles between the jellyfish tentacles, but once I stepped back, it looked good and didn't draw my eye.

No it adds to it Nancy. It appears the tentacles are stirring the water adding more movement, it works very well.

Excellent idea! I sent an email to Alex Anderson suggesting that she do just that.
