Just the sort of excuse I'd need to have/wear a Fascinator. I'd be all dress up with no place to go otherwise.

Remember the days when we used to really get dressed up to take an airplane? And we had service and room to move? Lois, you could bring back those days and wear a fascinator when you visit your family. Then you'd be all dressed up and have somewhere to go!

Every now and then you still see someone who's gotten dressed-up to take a plane. It makes people watching so much more interesting. Don't think I'll be wearing my Fascinator on an airplane. I do have 4 little grand-nieces who would have a grand time trying on Fascinators at Sunday dinner. They'd love making them too.

no no no. But it IS a good idea.

There is a Kaffe Fasset workshop in London, Ontario, about 8 hours drive from here or a zillion dollars to fly, plus hotel etc. However, I haven't been anywhere in an airplane for a while. So close, yet so far...

Treat yourself after what you've been through and be the lady on the plane with a hat

I think Terrie is perfectly 'decorated' to get a pass for the 'royal enclosure' at something like Ascot races.

Yes, the eggs are great! But our winters are too cold. I did try one last year , and I have to say it was the worst bird I ever et. Tough like rubber.
