Rita--while I like the pouches, I don't know what "craic" is.
Wendy--I love the mice--are they pin cushions, paper weights...?
Terrie--did you say you made the hat you are wearing in your new picture?

Terrie you look terrific! Renata you have changed quite a bit. Ritzy, 'craic' is the Irish word for 'fun'.

And Wendy, I love those mice. So much nicer than the more troublesome kind.

Terrie, I am liking the Fascinator, and more than that, I like how you look wearing it. I am glad to see that you didn't follow the Maxim for the MOG to wear beige. Looking quite good, I must say! Congratulations, on many fronts.

Gosh, just read through all these post! Needed inspiration for Christmas gifties. So many projects going right now BOM, Happiness, Christmas quilt, and a horse themed quilt for my granddaughter. Still want to make those little purses Rita (?) posted. And the pot holders.
Not sure if I can get anything posted by Nov. 1, but will keep watching this post! You ladies are great. Jan

For those who asked: I did sort of make the fascinator, but mostly de-constructed an existing one ( the original looked like it was more for a funeral, with black veil over the face) and reconstructed it and added stuff (pink feathers, 'jewels') I snipped and tucked and folded, and tacked and stitched until it looked a little more fun. I though it might have been a headache maker, but not at all. Once I put it on, I basically forgot about it. I had a hot pink shawl to bring out the pink/fuchsia in the dress. Flat shoes. It all was so comfortable, which is so unlike how dressing up used to be. I wore 'thigh highs' instead of panty hose, and there you go, and Bob's your uncle!

There were 4 others wearing them, so I think it's trending.

I'm off to a wedding at the beginning of November. I own two fascinators, but I'm very tempted to add another one (that'll be a collection then, right?!) if I have the time.

Terrie - love your fascinator! I've not seen fascinators here in Southern California, I'll have to pay more attention!

                            Lochen - you look fantastic!

                            Wendy - enjoying the thread!

Maybe we should have a brand-new thread and challenge: "Change your profile picture to one where you wear a hat or fascinator"?!
