My goodness but you all have been so creative! Each one is beautiful and unique. I am sorry to say that I did not get anything done. I have just been too busy in the past few weeks to do any quilting at all. I am hoping to get into the sewing room tomorrow for a bit though. What's the next challenge? Maybe I will be able to make that deadline.

What beautiful Yesterdays! It's an amazingly creative way of making your personalities and artistic personae really come through and shine. I wish I were participating too but can't seem to find a way of fitting it in. I'll have to be satisfied with admiring your work and not playing along.

Everyone did great! My Yesterday is similar to Nancy's. This is a photo of my great-grandparents, Franks and Edna Machado, in 1911.

Here are the other projects I had been working on since I completed Vases and Flowers.

And the 2 baby quilt tops I am working on. Will probably add some applique and/or embroidery...especially to that green square. The colors in the photos are a bit off.

How beautiful your latest projects, Lorna, as well as your CW project. And baby quilts too? You really are prolific these days! Thanks for sharing.

Pebble fabric is Timeless Treasures Fabric(I got lucky and that was on the binding--not always the case when you buy only a quarter of a yard).

The first butterfly I did was drawn out on white fabric and I used Pitt artist pens to color it. The black was just not saturated enough so I did it in black fabric and all those dots are appliquéd on. I didn't like the flatness of the dots so I used watercolor pencils and Inktense pencils to do some shading.

Each petal of the flower is a separate piece and I did some pencil work on them too but it is not easily seen. The leaves and stem also received the pencil treatment because I didn't have the color of fabric I wanted.

The background fabric was close to what I wanted but it took quilting around each stone to give it the look of dimension I was after. The yellow on the head and back of the butterfly were hand stitched.

                Thanks for the distraction Wendy.

Wow! So many more wonderful quilts have appeared!

I love your kaleidoscope, Susan! I just started playing with KK3, too, after the show. It's a lot of fun!

Love your flowers, Wendy and Lois! They are both beautiful! And I love the sentiment in yours, Wendy.

And I love yours, Lorna! Much more artistic than mine! And all of your other projects are wonderful. You have been incredibly productive!

I hope I haven't missed anyone since I'm going by memory. If I missed you, I apologize, but every one I've seen is beautiful!

WOW!!!! You've all done wonderful things!!! I love every one I've seen so far. I'm buried in a work project and won't be able to surface enough to quilt until October, but y'all are giving me ideas! I hope I'll be able to participate in the next challenge. Susan, when I see you in January, I'm going to need a lesson! I have a Mac, so can't use KK, but I'm impressed with what you've done with the pentangles!

                              off topic...

Last year I made mugs rugs for the 28 people that work for me. Year before I made FSL Christmas ornaments. I need a quick idea for this year. I figure September is a better time to start than December, which is what I always do. There are a couple guys but mostly women. Most people give baked goods or candies so I don't want to go that route.
