Thanks again, everybody. One thing I did after my granddaughter and I made the flower girl dresses was to design and make under-slips for them, since they were VERY see-through. The little girls can use them to play dress-up in later. (Sorry it's side-ways - it's a iPhone picture!)

Carole--I did the exact same thing when I made my wedding dress. It makes such a wonderful trim for neck and sleeves. I usually try to wash instead of dry cleaning and most times, have no problems.

Look at the beauty I received today! Thank you so much Nancy! your feathers are truly exquisite! I love the Bunny panel.

And the back is also lovely:

I want to apologize for being late in making my mug rugs... I've been struggling with my BOM2013 quilt, and I have to finish it before I do anything else... I have a target date for it, and I can't move this

Carole, the whole wedding ensemble and quilt are fabulous. I've tried over the years to make clothing but nothing ever fits properly and there don't seem to be classes offered anymore so at my age just work on fun stuff.

Nancy that is a beauty and your feathers are outstanding...I'm still practicing!!

                      Marilyn--love your new picture.

And, look at my newest arrival from Renata...my own Moon Cake rabbit--yeah. The fabric is perfect and the quilting is just wonderful.

I see an animal trend here! Two rabbit rugs really are nice!

Peggy Sagers of Silhouette Patterns has many webcasts you can watch free, and they deal with fitting issues a lot. She also has fitting DVDs for sale. I've watched enough that I now have a general idea of how to adjust patterns, especially the Silhouette Patterns, but it's still a nuisance. She has live webcasts at 9 PM on Mondays every two weeks, most of the time. Sometimes she has to skip one. It took a while to get used to her methods. It is NOT like you learned in high school home ec., because she has an industry sewing background. I still only sew garments when absolutely necessary.

I am *finally* posting all the mug rugs I've received! I posted Ritzy's when I first got it, but have been negligent in posting up the rest. We are having our house built, and school is in full force for the 3 boys (still at home/home schooling them), and the youngest started speech therapy, and, well, life is crazy, and somehow, getting pictures from my phone to my computer seems harder than getting them from a real camera to the computer! Weird. Should not be, but feels that way.

So, my apologies, but here they are! Aren't they all just stunning?!

From Debbie (djane) -- the tiny triangles are just absolutely perfectly pieced; it is stunning up close. Stunning! The back has lovely red maple leaves to remind me of her Canada The fabrics on the front are precious, and I just am in serious awe of her workmanship. Debbie -- you are talented!

From Jane (GolfJane) -- I am calling these sunflowers, but maybe they are really daffodils?? I am not 100% sure, but they are gorgeous and bright and lovely and I am very jealous of her ability to do Y seams. Those nearly made me quit before I'd even started, way back when! LOL! And flowers are perfect (even though I don't know the types of flowers!) because I have a collection of pottery/ceramic flowers from Brazil -- in red-oranges & yellows! So this goes well. And the back is a super fun, bright, contemporary floral. Lovely!

From Marilyn -- Oval shaped!! Can you believe that?! It is adorable! Potato fabric, which I love, because it's the red potatoes it seems, and then gardening prints fussy cut and appliqued on -- so so so lovely! I absolutely love the garden theme, because the greenery and flowers and lush vegetation in Brazil is what I'll miss the most, I think, in the day-to-day (especially in the winter here!). She did meticulous echo quilting around the applique, which is stunningly precise and perfect, even around all the little curves and things. AS I'm doing some of that right now, around applique that is not nearly so intricate, I am in awe. Fantastic job, Marilyn! and I love the ric-rac around the edge; it just frames it all so nicely!

Okay, only 3 per post, so the next 2 in the next post.....

Sorry again it took me so long to post these all, but aren't they gorgeous?! This has been so much fun!
