Another idiom to add to my repitiore that is if I can remember it when I need it. Loved the triffle. Would love eating it much more than reading about it. Christmas is still happening here. Family lives in so many different directions to get around and have visitors too takes a while. Still having to do some prep but today I am trying to take a break from it all and get a bit of sewing in. Take care everyone.

Norma, congratulations on the new addition to the family - meant to say that earlier. Lois I am getting a little sewing in today too - before the next round of visitations etc for the holidays. I am trying to catch up on my Bonnie Hunter mystery from last week. Enjoy your time sewing.

Great Mug Rugs, Rosemary. What a wonderful wall. Congratulations, Norma! More fun baby quilts in your future. And Rita, your daughter did you proud. As quilters we know that hand-made gifts are from-the-heart gifts and hers are beautiful! My own 7 year old DGD, who I get to see very little, announced yesterday she wanted to sew again. She remembered when we slipped away last Christmas and did some hand stitching on muslin. Maybe...maybe...

Great MRs ! Good way to show them off as well, Rosemary ! Rita...your DD did a lovely job ! The phrase
certainly applies ! I can't help but wonder if she is musical like her parents, too ??
I make a similar trifle in summer with layers of sponge soaked in amoretto (almond liqueur), berries, vanilla
pudding and whipped cream !

Now..off topic...Can anyone tell me how to reset my password? They gave me a number but dummy  here
can't see how to change it on to an easier word/number one. Tech.s are out for holiday. Help appreciated !

Wishing you all a very happy (belated) Christmas!
Hope you all managed to spend it with family and friends and find a little time just for yourself (and maybe a bit of fabric and thread).

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We are getting together with the family members who could come on Saturday. I still have lots to do. I did threaten to run away today, but can't do that. I think a cruise is in order for next year, or a trip to anywhere else. Too much commotion. And I am ready for some peace on Earth. Does anyone else have family members who squabble? Sorry, but I needed to vent. I will be good and go wrap more presents now. Love to you all.

Cathy, Squabbling does take the fun out of it. Hope you find some of that Peace on Earth soon!

Cathy you are not alone. My youngest two decided to have a squabble about which side of the table they would sit for dinner just as I was about to plate up - my older daughter and I having spent hours in preparation for a delicious meal. But after a little 'discussion' with their father it was sorted out. A cruise sounds like a great idea for next year. Let's all go on a quilting cruise and leave the squabblers behind. Maybe then they will appreciate what they had.
