Great muggies Terrie! You did a great job Renata, Jane and Norma.
Lois, I was really tempted to take a picture of DD as she went through the scraps because I found it humorous that this child who doesn't want to be anything like her mom, is doing her mom's thing; but, she would of made some strange face at me. I have to try to caught her unaware.

I am sitting at my computer on a conference call for my job and trying to stay awake. I started looking at the show and tell for the mug rugs. I was really surprised to see so many that I have missed through the forum. That's what I get for getting so busy. This is one tallented group of ladies and gentlemen!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh happy day!! I went to the mailbox and what did I find? This lovely beauty created by Norma:

Isn't it great??? The colors are brighter and more beautiful than they appear in the picture. I love her use of her fancy sewing machine stitches! And I love the way the rattail binding is sewn on with gaps between the stitching to let the rattail show through. Here's a close-up:

Not only did she send the mug rug, but she also sent me some rattail to play with on my own and a beautiful card:

The photo is a picture she took of her own roses that she used to practice printing photos on fabric. Incredibly beautiful! Hard to believe it's a practice piece!

        Thank you so much, Norma!

I also received a beautiful mug rug from Norma. I will try to get a picture posted tomorrow, or Sunday. Camera battery went dead.
Thank you Norma, I love it!!

At least it is only your camera battery - my whole camera has died

Hopefully that will be the last of three, first the bulb on my sewing machine flickered and then died - I think it is a connection for the bulb, as the machine still ran. Then my slow cooker died in the middle of cooking pulled pork  , luckily I found out before serving time. Then my camera died last weekend  fortunately DH has a good one that I was able to use for CW. Unfortunately my phone camera decided not to save any pictures I took last Sat either

Still at least I know what to put on my christmas list this year, once I have gleaned through what is on offer and what will do what I want it to....

Should be smooth sailing from now on, Rosemary. All the annoying stuff is done and dusted.

Postman Pat brought two envelopes from the US today. They must have been holding hands over the Atlantic. Pat went to school with one of my sons. He knows more about be than my neighbours do. He knocked on the door, handed over the envelopes with the comment: "Feels soft, Mrs. N. Must be fabrics or something. You expecting mail from California and Arizona?" So I opened the envelopes there and then and showed him. His comment: "Mrs. N., you have some very arty friends, and one of them even knows that you like single malt. That's cool!"

Soooooo, here goes: Thank you so much, Jane! Beautiful quilting and such a positive message! Love it!

Geneva, I have opened a bottle of Talisker so that you can see that it's perfect. I finished the Maccallan a few weeks ago. The fabric colours are perfect for a single malt lover, and the bit of glitzy thread just adds that little bit extra. Thank you so much!

Soooo many beautiful muggies posted these last few days. I haven't received notices either for whatever the reason (again!!). But such eye candy--wonderful job everyone. A few of the ones I've received are at our winter home so will post to the Show and Tell once we get back down there at the end of this month so I know they will add to the count too...

I never received notices either. I agree with everyone that all the new mug mugs from the last few days are terrific. Definitely eye candy.

Maureen, you'll just have to come and check regularly. I do get notices, but I pop into TQS once a day, normally in the evening, anyway.
